Ayurveda Lectures - To acquire a wider scope
of awareness on Ayurveda through one-hour lectures (1 per
week), conducted by Ayurveda Specialists who will uncover
the traditional wisdom of Ayurveda, as well as by utilising
the Library facilities.
•
Ayurveda Prakruti Consultation and Follow-up Consultations
- To have the Body Type (Prakruti consultation) assessed by
the Consultant to and to know the means and methods of adjusting
the life style to promote health and well-being.
• Ayurveda Treatments - To experience
conducive effects of an extended session of Oleation, Sudation,
Herbal Bath / Steam Bath; the benefits of other modules of
therapies; short term cleansing and neutralising or detoxification
therapies. In addition, depending on the findings of the Doshic
imbalance and extent of pathological manifestation (uncomplicated),
the Consultants would prescribe other modalities of treatment
to establish normality. The Consultants would also give advise
on selection of various foods and fruits to create an awareness
of Food & Dietetics and their values based on Ayurvedic
concepts.
•
Yoga and Meditation – The consultants
would also recommend participating in regular Yoga exercises,
which will be conducted by an experienced Yoga Instructor.
In addition, meditation will be part of the therapy programme.
These therapies will enhance the psychosomatic harmony and
provide stress relief.
•
Specially created Ayurvedic Food and Ayurveda Tea
– The Ayurvedic Doctors will recommend certain foods
to enhance the therapeutical benefit of the Ayurveda Programme
and the guests are recommended to follow these guidelines
to get maximum benefits of the therapy. The Restaurant will
also conduct Ayurvedic Cooking lessons. Eight varieties Ayurvedic
Tea manufactured using traditional Ayurvedic ingredients for
various body functions such as Cleansing, Slimming, etc.,
are served complementary to guests.
•
Ayurveda Oils, Elixirs, Pastes, Tablets, etc.
- Siddhalepa Ayurveda Health Resort uses only Ayurveda medicines
and products manufactured by their own Ayurveda company, Hettigoda
Industries (Pvt) Ltd, which is a licensed Ayurveda Manufacturing
Facility by the Department of Ayurveda, Sri Lanka. This facility
is also certified by ISO 9001 International Standards, ISO
14001 International Environmental Standards, and Good Manufacturing
Practices (GMP).
• Ayurveda Factory Visit - Tour to
educate on the manufacturing complexities of various Ayurvedic
medicinal preparations prescribed at the Resort by visiting
the ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 certified Siddhalepa Manufacturing
facility.
